Daniel (he/they) earned his master's degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). 

Daniel is especially passionate about working with LGBT+ inidividuals and clients navigating physical and mental disabilities. His background in rehabilitation counseling gives him a grounded understanding of how identity, ability, and mental health intersect, and he's attuned to the real challenges clients face through their intersecting identities. 

In session, Daniel takes a person-centered and collaborative approach. He believes clients are the experts on their own lives, and that real growth happens through a relationship built on trust and mutual respect. When it's helpful, he's willing to be more directive, offering structure and guidance so clients and keep moving forward. That flexibility lets him adjust to what each client actually needs, rather than sticking to one fixed style. 

Above all, Daniel is committed to building a therapeutic space that feels affirming, respectful, and responsive to each person through virtual sessions that provide accessible care from wherever they feel most comfortable.
