I am glad for your interest in psychotherapy and grateful you’ve found this page. I’ve come to the field of social work and practice of psychotherapy to support individuals (adolescents and adults of all ages) suffering overwhelm related to anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma.
My goal as a therapist is to support clients in recognizing stuck places and hurts related to disconnection, trauma, and loss; then to accompany them as they adopt and integrate the tools and strategies that transform stuckness and hurts into places of self-compassion and security.
As a social worker, I have worked with persons across the lifespan in settings ranging from public and private schools; to a clinical setting providing resources for persons living with HIV/AIDS; an intensive outpatient program for persons living with chronic pain; youth in foster care; and adult hospice services.
It is my experience that a trusted therapeutic relationship is part of what catalyzes transformations we need to reveal our innate goodness and restore us to wholeness.
